These terms are an agreement between [LEGAL_NAME] ("we", "us") and you when you use Maqta (maqta.app). The service is provided by [LEGAL_NAME], and you contract with us. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

The service

Maqta creates short vertical videos ("reels") for businesses from the footage you upload, using AI: editing, captions, graphics, music and voice-over, and optional publishing to your Instagram and TikTok accounts. Results are generated automatically and may need edits; you are responsible for reviewing a reel before publishing it.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity on your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it only to create your reels and provide the service. The reels we make for you are yours to use for your business, including in ads. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload and consent from people who appear in it.

Prohibited use

You may not upload or create illegal, harmful, false or misleading, infringing, sexual or violent content, or attempt to hack, copy, resell or abuse the service through automated means. We may suspend accounts that do.

Intellectual property

The software, design, templates and the Maqta brand belong to [LEGAL_NAME]. Using the service gives you no rights in them other than to use the service under these terms.

Plans, payments and subscriptions

• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Purchases are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
• Each reel uses credits depending on its type and footage length, charged only when the reel is delivered. Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page.
• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically every month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Balance page; your plan stays active until the end of the paid month.
• You can request a refund within 14 days of any payment under our Refund Policy.
• Credits have no cash value and are not transferable. We may change prices; changes never affect credits already bought, and apply to subscriptions from the next renewal after notice.

Third-party platforms

When you connect Instagram or TikTok we act only on your request, and your use of those platforms is subject to their terms. We are not responsible if a platform rejects or removes a post.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but provide it "as is", without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or that every reel will meet your expectations. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, harm the service or others, or involve payment fraud.

Changes

If we materially change these terms we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and disputes are subject to the courts of Nazareth.
